TOP 5 BIGGEST STARS IN THE UNIVERSE AND THEIR SIZE COMPARISION

We human beings are living on this planet for centuries. The earth has always surprised us. There has always been a curiosity in us to know this earth better. And there is still a lot to know about this earth.

In the same way, the curiosity to know the universe also came in us long ago. This universe is way bigger than we think. And so the celestial bodies are. Today we will talk about the top 5 biggest stars we have discovered to date. And we will also see how big these stars are in size compared to our Earth and the Sun on a small scale.

But first, let's assume that our Earth is of the size of a ping pong ball. And then we will see how big our sun and the rest of the stars will be in real life compared to the size of that ping pong ball (Earth).

Our Sun is about 109.1 times larger than our Earth. So, the diameter of our sun will be equal to 4.35 meters compared to our ping pong earth.

Now we will have a look at those five stars. These stars are much bigger than our sun. So, we use "Solar Radius" and “Solar Mass” to measure their size and mass.

1 Solar Radius (Radius of the Sun) - 696,340 km

1 Solar Mass (Mass of the Sun) - 1.989 X 10^30 kg

1 Light year (Distance traveled by light in one year) – 9.5 trillion km

The top 5 biggest stars are as follows:

5. RW Cephei

RW Cephei is a red supergiant variable star located in Cepheus constellation.
